The AJK budget with a total outlay of over two hundred sixty four billion rupees was presented at Legislative Assembly in Muzaffarabad on Tuesday.AJK Minister for Finance Abdul Majid Khan unveiling budgetary proposals said total revenue has been estimated at over 201 billion rupees while 220 billion rupees have been proposed for expenditure. The development budget has been estimated as 44 billion rupees.AJK Government will receive seventy-five billion rupees as Inland Revenue, one hundred and five billion as federal variable grants, fifteen billion from power, water use charges one billion, one billion loan and advances and taxes from other departments.He thanked federal government for enhancing assistance of the AJK to seventy-three point nine billion for the next year.Earlier, the cabinet gave approval to the budget proposals.
