Islamabad: Peace missions by Pakistan are vital in keeping peace and order in a large number of disturbed areas. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has held a fruitful meeting with Secretary General António Guterres. Pakistan is an important country in this region also playing a key role in maintaining peace and order in different areas. Pakistani peace missions are also promoting peace and the agenda of the United Nations. Our soldiers and medical units are providing state-of-the-art facilities to the recipients.

According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan supports peace in the region, especially in Afghanistan, as it aims to promote trade and commerce ties with Central Asian States. Although Afghanistan has been disturbed for decades, Pakistan wants to see it as a peaceful country because the two are next-door neighbors.
