The situation in the region is posing serious threats globally, and diplomatic strategies are being employed to address these challenges.According to Radio Pakistan, former diplomat Amb. Naela Chohan expressed her appreciation for the diplomatic efforts undertaken by Pakistan, Turkiye, Egypt, and other nations. She highlighted Pakistan's longstanding commitment to playing a constructive role in the peaceful settlement of international disputes. Pakistan's contribution to United Nations peace missions is highly valued, and the international community's trust in Pakistan is a matter of pride for the nation.Dr. Salma Malik, an expert in international relations, noted that the conflict in the Middle East could take various directions. Mediation might lead to a resolution as multiple countries are actively involved in the pro cess. However, she cautioned that the situation could deteriorate if the conflict continues, leading to prolonged negotiations. Malik also discussed the involvement of key players like the US, Israel, and Iran, mentioning the potential for regime change in Iran by the US, which could result in instability. In light of recent events, there are concerns that countries may seek nuclear capabilities to protect their sovereignty.
