New York: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN Asim Iftikhar has underscored the importance of multilateralism in light of the global challenges. Interacting with the United Nations Staff Recreation Council (UNSRC)- Pakistan Club at the UN headquarters, he emphasized the need for greater collaboration between the UN Secretariat and member states to understand each other’s perspectives and limitations.

According to Radio Pakistan, Iftikhar highlighted the significance of cultural diplomacy and people-to-people interactions in building bridges of mutual understanding and harmony. He stressed that these efforts are crucial for addressing the complexities of global issues and fostering an environment of cooperation and peace.
