Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja has instructed that copies of Form-45 should be provided to the polling agents of all candidates.He telephonically talked to the four provincial chief secretaries and provincial election commissioners and directed them to ensure peaceful and transparent bye-elections.He also contacted the regional election commissioners of all the sensitive constituencies, deputy commissioners and Returning Officers and emphasized to ensure monitoring and transparency of the polling process.Besides, the Chief Commissioner urged all the contesting candidates to instruct their polling agents to ensure obtaining copy of the Form-45 from the concerned Presiding Officer.Sikandar Sultan Raja also visited the Control Room established at the Election Commission Secretariat and termed the arrangements satisfactory.Source: Radio Pakistan
