Lahore: China has unveiled draft guidelines for the country's data infrastructure construction, including upgrading its 5G network to the 5G-A standard and promoting 6G-related research, development, and innovation.According to Radio Pakistan, the document released by the National Data Bureau outlines plans to balance the deployment of international communication gateways across China's eastern, central, and western regions. This strategic move aims to expand international submarine and land cable information channels, enhancing the country's global communication capabilities.The guidelines also propose the establishment of a satellite internet network that integrates space and ground facilities. This initiative is expected to bolster China's technological infrastructure, paving the way for advancements in connectivity and communication.
