Quetta: A meeting of Balochistan provincial cabinet was held in Quetta with Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti in the chair. The cabinet strongly condemned the suicide blast at the railway station in Quetta and decided to eliminate the menace of terrorism. The meeting approved the 'Balochistan Security of Venerable Establishment Act 2024' to ensure peace in the province. Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said they will ensure peace in the province at every cost.According to Radio Pakistan, the cabinet's decision to introduce the 'Balochistan Security of Venerable Establishment Act 2024' is aimed at bolstering security measures in the province. The act is expected to provide a legal framework to protect vulnerable establishments and facilitate the efforts to combat terrorism. The Chief Minister emphasized the government's commitment to maintaining stability and security, highlighting the importance of collective efforts in achieving lasting peace in Balochistan.
