Lahore: The Case Management System (CMS), developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), has successfully facilitated the resolution of approximately 9.2 million cases in district courts throughout Punjab. This significant achievement highlights the role of technology in enhancing the efficiency and transparency of the judicial process in the province.According to Radio Pakistan, during a review meeting held in Lahore, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf emphasized the benefits of the CMS. He stated that the system provides real-time access to case details and court schedules for both lawyers and the public. This accessibility is crucial in making the judicial process more transparent and efficient, ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed.The CMS offers an online cause list and detailed case-specific information, which streamlines case proceedings. By making these resources available online, the platform helps to reduce delays and improve the overall workflow within the district courts.
