Economic Coordination Committee has approved a supplementary grant of 45 billion rupees for various projects of defence services.The ECC granted this approval at its meeting held in Islamabad with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in the chair.It also approved 150 million rupees in favour of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination.to meet the requirements of the COP-29 to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 11th to 22nd November 2024.Besides, the ECC approved increase in the price of Anti-Rabies Vaccine from 891.65 rupees to 1980 rupees per vial of 0.5 milliliter per dose. The price of the vaccine, manufactured by the National Institute of Health Islamabad, was enhanced to cover the landed cost of imported material and ensure its sufficient production and supply to the public sector hospitals.The forum also allowed increase in the rate of Special Allowance for the employees of Anti-Narcotics Force.Source: Radio Pakistan
