The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council has approved various development projects amounting to over 154 billion rupees.The approval was given in a meeting in Islamabad, chaired by Caretaker Finance Minister Dr Shamshad Akhtar.The meeting was briefed about continuation of Sehat Sahulat Program till June this year.ECNEC also approved project of establishing Infectious Disease Laboratory and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rural Roads Development Project.Federal Minister for Finance Dr. Shamshad Akhtar also chaired a meeting of Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet.The Committee approved a technical supplementary grant worth ten billion rupees for Digital Information Infrastructure Initiative.Source: Radio Pakistan
