The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has rejected news circulating on some private media channels regarding Election Management System (EMS) as inaccurate and misleading.

According to the Commission’s spokesperson, some private media channels have aired reports and played tickers that are baseless and contrary to facts regarding the benefits and eligibility of the EMS.

The statement said the intention behind these news items and tickers seems to be the creation of misconceptions about the system and misleading the general public.

In reality, the Election Management System has undergone multiple tests, and there is no doubt about its eligibility.
