Minister for Petroleum Musadik Malik says government is committed to provide every possible relief to the common man as per instructions of the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he said the Prime Minister has directed all the ministries to ensure that the poor get job opportunities and have maximum relief in inflation.Musadik Malik said the country is heading towards development despite of numerous challenges including floods and global circumstances.He said all efforts are underway to provide maximum relief to the people in upcoming budget.The Minister said people will see a significant reduction in inflation rate in coming days.He highlighted that the rate of inflation in country has come down to almost 17 percent from around 37 percent.Musadik Malik said food inflation was around forty percent last year which has now decreased to almost eleven percent.He further said thirty percent increase in tax collection has also been witnessed this year.So urce: Radio Pakistan
