Inflation rate has come to the lowest level of 6.9 percent in the country in the last four years as a result of prudent economic policies of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led government.According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the inflation rate was recorded as 6.93 percent during the last month, whereas it was 9.6 percent in August this year.On monthly basis, inflation came down by zero point five percent. A reduction in prices of sixteen edible items, including tomato, vegetable, flour, pulses, cooking oil, as well as chicken and bakery products were recorded.Source: Radio Pakistan
