Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has expressed hope that next government will focus on addressing the basic problems and economic reforms.He was addressing a seminar ''Political Participation and Empowerment of Youth, Women, Transgender and Cultural Minorities" in Lahore today.He said the caretaker government remained consistent from the day one that elections will be held on the date given by the Election Commission of Pakistan.He emphasized that minorities are enjoying equal rights in Pakistan and playing an active role in development of the country.The Information Minister said that caretaker government will ensure conduct of free and fair elections in the country on Thursday.He said that in the preamble of the Constitution of Pakistan, it is written that this country will be run by its elected representatives who come to power through elections.Murtaza Solangi said that the caretaker regime would hand over the power to the elected government in a better cond ition.Source: Radio Pakistan
