An inquiry is being conducted against incident of police entry into the residence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan in Islamabad.According to a spokesperson of the Islamabad Police, a strict action will be taken against the officials if found guilty of violating the law.He said the local police, on a tip of an informer, reached at a house in F-7/2 sector of the Federal Capital last night in search of an absconder. After finding out that the said house belongs to Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, the police immediately returned.The Spokesman further said Barrister Gohar Ali lodged a complaint to the Supreme Court about arrival of police at his house.On this, the Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan summoned Inspector General (IG) of Islamabad Police Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan and ordered to probe matter.He said the Court also directed the IG Islamabad to personally take up the complaint of Chairman PTI.The spokesperson said the IG assured the PTI Chairman that disciplinary action will be taken if any police officer is found guilty. The IG also immediately suspended five police officers including SHO Margalla Police Station.Source: Radio Pakistan
