Srinagar: Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and around the world are observing the fourth martyrdom anniversary of the Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Gilani, with a renewed commitment to continue his mission for freedom.

According to Radio Pakistan, Syed Ali Gilani passed away on 1st September 2021 at his residence in Srinagar, where he had been under house arrest for over ten years.

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference, in a statement from Srinagar, has encouraged Kashmiris worldwide to raise their voices to draw global attention to the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
