Ambassador of the European Union to Pakistan Dr. Riina Kionka called on Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights Azam Nazeer Tarar in Islamabad today.The meeting discussed relations between Pakistan and European Union, issues of mutual interest and Pakistan's GSP plus status were discussed during the meeting.Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the government is taking all possible measures for the betterment of minorities and protection of their rights.He mentioned different resolutions passed by Parliament in this regard.Azam Nazeer Tarar said the provincial governments have also been urged to play role in protecting the rights of minorities.Source: Radio Pakistan
