In South Waziristan, a mela was organized at the site of Gomal Zam Dam in cooperation with Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa South.A large number of people from South Waziristan, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan and Lakki Marwat attended the fair which featured traditional sports such as tug-of-war, boating and Kabaddi, in addition to stalls offering local cuisine.Prizes were also distributed among the top performers in various competitions.Source: Radio Pakistan
