Islamabad: Minister for Health Syed Mustafa Kamal has reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to eradicate counterfeit medicines in the country. Chairing a meeting in Islamabad, he emphasized the importance of addressing this critical issue.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted that the digitalization of the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) will play a crucial role in eliminating the menace of counterfeit medicines. This initiative is expected to enhance the credibility and performance of the pharmaceutical industry significantly. The Government’s resolve to tackle counterfeit drugs marks a significant step towards improving public health and ensuring the availability of safe and effective medicines for all citizens.
