Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz has nominated five members for the formation of a Judicial Commission for the appointment of Judges in the Higher Judiciary. These nominations have been forwarded to the Secretary of the Judicial Commission, and the Supreme Court has received all the nominations.According to Radio Pakistan, the nominated members include the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub Khan, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed of PML (N), Senators Farooq Naek and Shibli Faraz from the Senate, and Roshan Khursheed Bharucha, who has been nominated as the woman member of the Judicial Commission.In addition, the Speaker of the National Assembly has communicated with the Supreme Judicial Commission through a letter, emphasizing the need to form a judicial commission dedicated to appointing judges in the higher judiciary.
