Pakistan and Canada Agree to Expand Cooperation in Agriculture and Energy Sectors

Islamabad: Pakistan and Canada have reached an agreement to expand cooperation across several key sectors, including agriculture, mining, clean energy, aviation, and value-added industries. The agreement was finalized during a meeting between Pakistan's Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, and Canada's High Commissioner to Pakistan, Tarik Ali Khan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting emphasized the significance of fostering partnerships among Pakistani businesses, Canadian investors, and buyers in third-country markets. This initiative aims to create commercially viable partnerships that can benefit both nations.

Furthermore, the Canadian High Commissioner expressed Canada's interest in diversifying its international trade and enhancing its engagement with Asian markets. This development marks a step forward in strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new opportunities for economic growth between Pakistan and Canada.
