Islamabad: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have reached an agreement to initiate the process of declaring Islamabad and Riyadh as twin cities. This development was announced following a meeting between Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Nasser bin Abdul Aziz Al Dawood in Islamabad.According to Radio Pakistan, both countries also consented to implement the prisoner exchange agreement, which is set to facilitate the legal process for the repatriation of 419 Pakistani prisoners currently in Saudi Arabia. Interior Minister Naqvi expressed that Saudi Arabia is considered a fraternal nation by Pakistan, and he assured full cooperation in fostering bilateral relations.Naqvi highlighted a zero-tolerance policy against individuals engaging in begging practices with the intent of traveling to Saudi Arabia, noting that a nationwide crackdown on such activities has been initiated. Furthermore, Naqvi mentioned that Saudi nationals do not require a visa to visit Pakistan and can tra vel to the country at their convenience.Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Al Dawood reiterated the Kingdom's desire to strengthen its relationship with Pakistan, indicating a mutual interest in enhancing diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.
