Islamabad: Pakistan has once again called for an immediate, unconditional, and permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

According to Radio Pakistan, at the UN Security Council Briefing on the Humanitarian Situation in Gaza, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, emphasized the urgent need for the international community to take action without delay.

Asim Iftikhar Ahmad further stated that achieving a just and lasting peace in the Middle East hinges on the realization of the two-state solution. This solution envisions an independent and sovereign state of Palestine based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds al-Sharif as its capital.
