At the United Nations Pakistan has called for the organization's intervention to protect Islamic sites in India.In a letter addressed to the top official for UN Alliance of Civilizations, Miguel Angel Moratinos, Pakistan's representative to United Nations, Munir Akram said demolition of centures old mosque in New Delhi marks another highly disturbing chapter in an alarming campaign targeting Islamic sites and heritage in India.
