Islamabad: Pakistan and Kazakhstan have agreed on maritime trade negotiations, joint ventures, and economic cooperation. Discussions are currently underway on a strategy to transform Pakistan into a hub for trade and transit through its Karachi and Gwadar ports.

According to Radio Pakistan, the two countries have also agreed on measures to enhance cooperation in port development, transportation, and the maritime economy. This collaboration aims to boost the maritime infrastructure and capabilities of both nations, fostering stronger economic ties.
