Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has commended the National Disaster Management Authority for establishing state of the art National Emergency Operation Centre to ensure timely predictions pertaining to the climate change.Chairing a meeting of the NDMA in Islamabad today, he said the centre will help prepare better response planning in the wake of disaster to avert losses of precious human lives, livestock, property, and infrastructure.He said Pakistan is the seventh most vulnerable country in the world due to the adverse impact of the climate change.Source: Radio Pakistan
