PM Directs Creation of Anti-Riots Force Nationwide to Counter Rioters.

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the establishment of an Anti-Riots Force in Islamabad and throughout the country to effectively manage rioters. Chairing a review meeting on the law-and-order situation in Islamabad, he emphasized that the force should be equipped with professional training and necessary tools of an international standard.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed on recent attacks on public property, police, and Rangers personnel by protesters during demonstrations. He remarked that individuals involved in historical corruption and conspiracies to bankrupt the country to save their government have been apprehended by the law.

The Prime Minister criticized attempts to spread chaos by marching on Islamabad instead of pursuing a legal route. He highlighted that security forces personnel were injured and martyred during the anarchists’ march. Sharif condemned these so-called revolutionaries for their sinister attempts to spread chaos an
d called for immediate legal action against the miscreants marching on Islamabad.

Shehbaz Sharif also instructed improvements to the prosecution system, noting that the stock exchange crossed 100,000 points once the chaotic group dispersed. He attributed billions of rupees in losses to these attempts to spread disorder and held the gang of anarchists and its leaders responsible for the economic damage. He urged for the immediate identification and exemplary punishment of the miscreants.

The Prime Minister paid tribute to the security personnel martyred while performing their duties during the march and directed the formulation of a comprehensive strategy to prevent any such marches on Islamabad or other cities for personal gains. Sharif stressed that the government exhibited tolerance by preventing armed individuals from causing chaos under the guise of a peaceful sit-in and instructed the development of a comprehensive plan for future incidents.

Shehbaz Sharif insisted that those who incited public anger,
unrest, and chaos should face justice, and legal action should be taken against those who damaged public and private property, as well as identified armed individuals.
