Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to equip the youth with knowledge and skills in information technology in line with contemporary requirements.Chairing a meeting in Islamabad today, he directed to formulate a robust mechanism in order to enhance the IT exports of the country on priority basis.Highlighting the key role of Information Technology in the country's development, he advised to obtain the support of international experts for the development of the IT sector of country.The meeting was informed that a plan of action is being formulated which includes increasing the access of the common man to the internet, improving digital infrastructure, e-governance, professional training of digital skills among the youth and innovation.Source: Radio Pakistan
