President Dr Arif Alvi has said Pakistan accords special importance to its relations with Azerbaijan, which are based on common faith, shared history, and people-to-people contacts.He was talking to Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan, Mr Vugar Gulmammadov, who called on him, at Aiwan-e-Sadr.The President called for increasing cooperation between the supreme audit institutions of Pakistan and Azerbaijan for sharing best auditing practices to enhance transparency and financial accountability.He termed the cooperation between Pakistan and Azerbaijan pivotal for promoting peace, stability, development in the region.Source: Radio Pakistan
