Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain says government is working on reforms in energy sector to promote agriculture and industry.Speaking at Expo Centre in Lahore today, he said increase in exports is inevitable to boost economic activities in the country and accelerate development process.The Minister for Production said restructuring process of Utility Stores Corporation is being introduced to make it profitable entity.He said promotion of agriculture sector is vital to enhance exports and make Pakistan food self-sufficient.He said Pakistan's current export volume is thirty billion dollars which is very low.Rana Tanveer lauded participation of one hundred Chinese companies in Expo and introduction of their products.Source: Radio Pakistan
