Caretaker Minister for Interior and Commerce Gohar Ejaz, says providing essential commodities to the people at low rates are among the government's top priorities.He made these remarks while chairing a meeting of the sugar advisory board in Islamabad today.The meeting reviewed the position of sugar stocks in the country.Gohar Ejaz mentioned that a record production of sugarcane is expected for the second consecutive year, with its production anticipated to reach 6.5 million tons.
