Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, has said PTI is pursuing an agenda of Pakistan’s foes and it will not succeed in its nefarious designs.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a televised message today, Tarar stated that certain elements are struggling to accept the country’s economic stability and are consistently fueling hatred, division, and chaos. He highlighted the warm welcome given to Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir during his visit to the United Kingdom, where he received a guard of honor at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Tarar criticized PTI for not accepting the positive reception extended to Pakistan’s Army Chief.

Tarar further emphasized that patriotic overseas Pakistanis have rejected PTI’s negative propaganda by increasing their remittances by 32 percent. He expressed that overseas Pakistanis stand with the state of Pakistan, its armed forces, and the nation’s economy.

He recalled incidents involving PTI’s anarchist elements attacking Jinnah House and desecrating martyrs’ memorials, pointing out that there is ample video evidence showing PTI leaders at the forefront of these violent protests. The Minister accused the PTI founder of supporting terrorists and facilitating their return to Pakistan.

Tarar also mentioned that a small group of PTI supporters is engaged in negative campaigns on social media against the armed forces and the country’s economy. He assured that the law would take its course to bring those responsible for this social media campaign to justice.
