Lahore: The provincial disaster management authorities of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have warned of a new spell of rains in various parts of the provinces from today to Sunday next. In this connection, all commissioners and deputy commissioners have been instructed to stay alert.

According to Radio Pakistan, all the relevant departments have also been advised to stay alert to restore road links for traffic in case of closure due to landslides. Tourists are also directed to refrain from visiting hilly areas during the forecast period.
