Islamabad: Light to heavy rain in various parts of the country has brought relief to the citizens after a prolonged dry spell.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has warned that heavy snowfall may cause road closures and slippery conditions in hilly areas. The current rain spell is expected to continue till the end of the week, providing much-needed respite to the drought-affected regions. The department has advised residents in mountainous areas to exercise caution and plan their travel accordingly due to potential disruptions.
