Islamabad:The government is actively implementing measures to promote investment and facilitate business activities in the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) registered over five thousand new companies in October. This achievement marks a record for the month, with the IT sector leading the registrations with 991 new companies, followed by 767 in the trading sector and 594 in the services sector.

The SECP report indicates that the total number of registered companies has now reached 321,794. Notably, 99.9 percent of these registrations were completed online, highlighting the efficiency of the digital registration process.
