Peshawar: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has announced that the government is actively working to solarize as many houses as possible to alleviate the public's burden from hefty electricity bills. This initiative was highlighted during his address at a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony between the Bank of Khyber and the Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization in Peshawar.According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister emphasized that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has declared the current budget as a 'green budget,' signifying a strong commitment towards promoting the use of environmentally friendly energy sources. The government's efforts in solarizing homes are part of a broader strategy to make sustainable energy accessible and reduce reliance on traditional electricity, which often leads to high expenses for the public.
