Federal Minister for Industries Rana Tanveer Hussain has emphasized on promoting solar energy in the country to provide relief to people.Addressing an event in Lahore, he said the government is going to announce a policy regarding electric vehicles next month as their demand has increased significantly.The Minister said electric vehicles will also prove helpful in reducing Pakistan's imports as usage of petrol will be reduced.Source: Radio Pakistan
