Lahore: The twenty-first death anniversary of comedian, film, and stage actor Albela was observed on Thursday. Albela, whose real name was Akhtar Hussain, was born in 1940 and left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry with his unique comedic style.
According to Radio Pakistan, Albela’s career began with a small role in the film “Farishta,” which paved the way for his entry into the film world. Over the years, he became a prominent figure in numerous films, television programs, and theater plays, showcasing his versatile talent.
Albela passed away in Lahore on this day in 2004, but his contributions to the industry continue to be remembered and celebrated by fans and colleagues alike.
