Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz says expertise in IT and Artificial Intelligence will help the younger generation to gain employment and financial independence.She was talking to a delegation of IT institutions of Allied, Tech Valley and Google for Education in Lahore today.Maryam Nawaz said measures are being taken to improve the education system through ascertaining its shortcomings and weaknesses.She informed about Punjab Government's IT sector initiatives to the delegation.During the meeting, it was decided that Chrome Box assembly will be established in Punjab.Besides, free Google ID will be provided to fifty thousand students in government schools of the province while free digital certification courses will be launched for one thousand school teachers.The meeting also decided in principle to launch the Digital School on Wheels project.Source: Radio Pakistan
