The United Nations Public Service Day was observed today.The Day was celebrated to highlight the contribution of public service in the development process; recognize the work of public servants, and encourage young people to pursue careers in the public sector.In this connection, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, in a special message said the provincial government is performing its responsibilities with passion for public service.The Chief Minister reiterated government's commitment to improve public service to facilitate the public.She said the restructuring of provincial departments is being deliberated upon for better service delivery and good governance.Source: Radio Pakistan
