The United Nations Public Service Day was observed today. The Day was celebrated to highlight the contribution of public service in the development process; recognize the work of public servants, and encourage young people to pursue careers in the public sector. In this connection, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, in a special message said the provincial government is performing its responsibilities with passion for public service. The Chief Minister reiterated government's commitment to improve public service to facilitate the public.
