Anti-polio drive begins in Balochistan

In Balochistan, seven-day anti-polio drive started today.

During the drive, more than 2.5 million children up to five years of age would be administered anti-polio drops.

For this purpose more than eleven thousand teams have been constituted which would administer drops to the children during door to door drive.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo in his message said Provincial Government is committed to eliminate polio from the province.

On the other hand, two police personnel were martyred when unknown gunmen opened fire on them in Quetta today.

Police personnel were deployed with a polio team.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo strongly condemned the attack on police personnel.

He expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of two police personnel.
