Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib said the country’s exports had reached over 15 billion dollars during first half of the current fiscal year.

In a tweet, he said that a record increase of 25 percent in exports has been achieved due to special measures taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He said that only in December the exports were 2.761 billion dollars with 32 percent surge as compared to same month of the fiscal year 2020-21.

The Minister expressed confidence that if this pace continues, the country would witness the history’s highest-ever growth of 30 billion dollars in this sector by end of the current fiscal year.
