Pakistan’s export of pharmaceutical goods witnessed a growth of 8.87 percent year on year in July, according to figures from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
The country exported pharmaceutical goods worth 26.205 million U.S. dollars in July, compared to 24.069 million dollars recorded a year earlier, the PBS said on Tuesday.
In terms of quantity, the export of pharmaceutical goods increased by 144.27 percent to 5,125 metric tons during the period, data showed.
On a month-on-month basis, the export of pharmaceutical goods in July rose 19.58 percent from June, according to the PBS data.
