Chairman of Pakistan Ullema Council and Prime Minister’s Special representative, Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi says religion should not be used for political interests.
Talking to newsmen in Lahore on Sunday, he said reconciliation is only viable solution to all issues.
He said Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made a successful representation of Pakistan at SCO meeting in India and pleaded Pakistan’s stance on Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir before Indian media.
He said the statement of Army Chief General Asim Munir at Kakul Academy recently is stance of Pakistan that the Kashmir dispute should be resolved as per UN resolution.
He said entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan Army for defence of motherland.
