Minister for Federal Education Rana Tanveer Hussain has urged the journalist community to play its role for the betterment of society.
Addressing a ceremony at Muridke Press Club on Sunday, he termed journalism as a sacred profession and an important pillar of society.
He said writers should raise the voice of the oppressed and weak segments of society.
He said writers should come forward and play their role for the development and security of Pakistan.
